Jeffrey Lipton is an international financial specialist and Senior Executive and who has spent more than 20 years working in the international investment sector. Currently, Jeff leads Fairmont Gloucester Partners, a Hong Kong headquartered investment and trade finance firm that he established in 2016.
At Fairmont Gloucester Partners, Jeff offers guidance and strategic advice to help investors diversify and fortify their portfolio.
In the years before establishing Fairmont Gloucester Partners, Jeff led Berkeley Hanover, a specialist offshore Asset Management Group. While there Jeff spent time building a robust investment management team for the firm comprised of industry specialists and financial experts.
Jeff’s career started more than 30 years ago, shortly after earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, in Canada. From there Jeff went on to receive a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelors of Law degree (LL.B) from the University of Windsor also located in Ontario.
Upon completion of his studies in Windsor, Jeff went on to add a formal Chartered Financial Analyst designation to his list of credentials.
One of Jeff’s earliest jobs after school was at the internationally notable Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). While there he worked on counsel market policy, take-over bid, issuer bid, insider bid, as well as, policy creation and implementation.
After leaving the TSX, Jeffrey Lipton went on to work at a variety of Canada’s leading financial management firms that specialize in investment and merchant banking, at these firms Jeff held top-level senior and executive positions.
From there, Jeff went on to practice law for a number of years in corporate finance, securities and taxation sector.
Jeff was also chosen to be President and Senior Portfolio Manager in 1994 at Infinity Mutual Funds, a company offering wide-ranging investment services.
Jeffrey is active in many sports activities including completing many triathlons at the Olympic and Sprint distances, several marathons, and has been involved with the Barbados Ball Hockey League for almost 15 years. He is also a competitive in the international Taekwondo arena.
